ToggleBaron Corbin is working in WWE actively for more than a decade and he had been one of the most consistent stars of the promotion. He has achieved multiple accomplishments in the promotion including the WWE United States Championship and he also won the King of the Ring tournament. He is indeed one of the most talented stars of the promotion today.
But inspite of being one of the most talented stars of the promotion, somehow he became a jobber in recent years. He was struggling pretty badly to achieve victories. WWE tried to repackage him a number of times, he was doing a good job overall but somehow all the characters fell flat.

Baron Corbin’s Potential Untapped? Wrestling Legend Discusses WWE’s Push Decisions
The majority of fans are not happy with the way WWE treating such a talented wrestler like Baron Corbin. Even a lot of wrestling legends are looking forward to seeing Corbin receiving at least a mid card push. WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently expressed his desire to see Corbin getting a big push. Speaking on his Kurt Angle show podcast recently, the Olympic gold medallist said;
“I do not have heat with Baron Corbin. He wasn’t my first choice to retire me at WrestleMania, I’ve made that very well known, but I didn’t mind having him there. I didn’t mind wrestling him. The problem with Baron is, right after he beat me, they pushed him really hard. He won King of the Ring, became King Corbin, and then they changed it to Happy Corbin.

Baron Corbin Is Working In NXT Right Now
“I don’t know what the hell they were thinking. At that point, he was kind of dwindling down, and then they came back with the Lone Wolf Baron Corbin. He started coming back up again.”
“I don’t think he’s had the opportunity that he deserves. They could push him a little harder and he’d be in a much better place if they did that. I don’t know if they’re not crazy about him, or what it is, but he is talented. He can cut a promo just as good as anybody else, he’s great in the ring. I don’t know what the problem is. He’s talented enough to make it at that level and stay there.”

Just a quick reminder that Corbin had a mega feud with Kurt Angle which ended at WrestleMania 35 with the end of Angle’s career. Corbin has been sent back to the NXT recently and he is working regularly on the development territory of the promotion right now. We hope he comes back to the main roster stronger than ever.
