WWE Smackdown star and the leader of the Damage CTRL faction Bayley recently addressed the current critical condition of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and claimed that the “WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships Have Been Through A Lot.”

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships had been one of the worst booked championships over the years. It was introduced back in February, 2019. When it was introduced, it seemed like it would play an excellent role in the women’s revolution. The titles were booked pretty well in the early days but slowly it started to lose its glamour.

Bayley’s Plea For Change: Highlighting The Dire Condition Of WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, “WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships Have Been Through A Lot”

The situation was of the titles became so bad that last year it almost died after Sasha Banks and Naomi submitted the titles. It did not even look like that Vince McMahon had any plans of reintroducing the championships. They almost killed the NXT Tag Team Championships too in this process.

But after Triple H became the Head of Creative of WWE, he reintroduced the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The fans were hopeful again about this pair of titles. But unfortunately, the situation did not improve enough for the titles and it remained almost the very same.

Recently, Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan won these titles. In spite of not getting enough support together, they tried their best to make it click, and when it finally seemed like it was finally working, Liv Morgan got injured and the titles had to vacated since she sustained the injury.

WWE announced a fatal 4 way match for the Tag Team titles for tomorrow on RAW. They twitted about this match by saying, “BREAKING: The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles have been vacated. New champions will be crowned on the May 29th episode of #WWERaw”

The inaugural and former two times WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bayley retweeted this and wrote, “These titles have been through A LOT. The ones who’ve held them know the pride and sometimes the extreme struggle that comes with them. But we keep fighting for them, we take a stand for them. Through injuries, break ups and hopeful. opportunities…..there’s magic in there waiting.”

We hope WWE succeeds to restore the glory back to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship soon.
