WWE star and a former six times WWE Women’s champion Becky Lynch who recently dropped the WWE Raw Women’s Championship Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 38 recently talked about the women’s divisions of both WWE and AEW. She said that the women’s division of WWE is stronger and women in WWE get more opportunities.
Becky Lynch is currently one of the faces of WWE. The promotion is currently divided into two different rosters, Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. The total women of both roasters are less than the total roster of AEW, and AEW only has one roster where they have more women than WWE’s main roster.
Becky Lynch Believes WWE’s Women’s Division Is Better Than AEW
Quite naturally WWE female wrestlers get more opportunities than the female wrestlers of AEW. We have seen AEW has signed a lot of wrestlers in the women’s division as well but they are not being able to managed everyone properly. The same thing had been an issue in WWE as well, but WWE is experienced and they are certainly making more money.
AEW can solve this issue by doing a number of things. Firstly they need to introduce the Women’s Tag Team Championship titles which will give the women more opportunities to work for. And this Championship has already been teased a number of times before by the AEW stars. So sooner or later we might get to see the Women’s Tag Team championships in AEW.
There is another fix that can solve the overcrowded at roster issue of AEW, they can extend their brand just like WWE did. It looks like WWE is going to stop the brand split very soon. This would be the perfect time for AEW to have a brand split. They would look more superior than WWE if they extend they are brands at this situation. This will solve their overcrowded roster issue as well.
Becky Lynch who recently dropped the WWE Raw Women’s Championship Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 38 recently spoke to Drew Garabo Live Featured Cut Of The Day where she talked about the women’s divisions of both WWE and AEW. She said that the women’s division of WWE is stronger and women in WWE gets more opportunities. She said;
“I wish I could say ‘yes,’ but, unfortunately, I don’t think they are represented the way we are, they don’t get as much time as we get and frankly, they’re not as good as we are. We have, certainly on Raw, we have the best women’s division in the world. I say that without any hesitation in my voice. We have the best women’s division in the world.
“Competition is great and it’s great for there to be another place and I have a very good friend, Ruby Soho, over there and I would love to see her as champion one day. I would love to see her get the spotlight she deserves. Competition is always great. Over here, we’re on another level.”
