Becky Lynch is coming back to the United States from Saudi Arabia as the reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion. She went through her biggest challenge, to date by featuring in a triple threat along with Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. But Big Time Becks outsmarted them by rolling Banks up and thereby literally stealing the victory.
This was a big moment for the WWE as they hosted a huge title match for the first time on the soil of Saudi Arabia. It got some big-time attention from social media while critics and viewers also praised the work ethics of the three women participating in the match irrespective of how short the finish was.

Then, Becky Lynch also took to social media to break her heelish ‘Big Time Becks’ persona to drop a message for the Crown Jewel’s host country, the Saudi Kingdom. After receiving such a warm reception from the Saudi crowd, she also thanked all of the women who came before her and allowed that moment to happen.
“I’ll set aside my usual trash talk tonight. Thank you to the women I shared the ring with tonight. You push me to do better. Thank you to the fans watching at home. Thank you to the incredible fans in Riyadh tonight who cheered so ferociously throughout our whole match and making this first trip to Saudi Arabia so memorable and inspiring so much hope for the future of women around the world.”
Becky Lynch sent a shout-out to Zelina Vega
In addition, Becky Lynch also gave a shout-out to the inaugural Queen’s Crown winner, Zelina Vega and the producer of the women’s division matches for Crown Jewel 2021, TJ Wilson.
“Congratulations to the first Queen of the ring winner @theatrinidad
And thank you to @tjwilson711 for being one of greatest minds the wrestling business has and collaborating with us to make magic.
I’ll go back to hating everyone tomorrow and wanting to slap heads. But tonight I want to say thank you.”
Currently, WWE has put Becky Lynch in an interesting situation where she still is the reigning Smackdown Women’s Champion but now she is a Superstar from the Raw side after getting picked by the red brand during the 2021 edition of Draft. In turn, Charlotte Flair is the RAW Women’s Champion who is getting moved to Smackdown. It’s likely that these two superstars will trade their championships in the near future to lead their respective female rosters.
