Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix who is a former three times WWE Women’s champion and a former WWE Divas champion recently talked about potentially having a match with the former WWE Raw Women’s champion Rhea Ripley.
Beth Phoenix vs. Rhea Ripley would be nothing less than a dream match. However WWE did not tease any match between the duo, but it is very much possible, looking at the current circumstances on Monday Night RAW, we can definitely say that a match between the duo is possible.
Beth Phoenix Reflects On A Potential Match With Rhea Ripley
Edge started a faction named The Judgment Day at WrestleMania 38 and with time, more members started to join the faction. One of the members being Rhea Ripley. But the members of the stable decided betray Edge and since then, The Rated R superstar is having a feud with his own stable. Overall, Edge had been the stronger name of the feud so far.
Recently on Monday Night RAW, Edge had a match with the former WWE United States champion Damian Priest who is a member of Judgement Day. After Edge defeated him, the rest of the members came out and attacked him. Edge’s wife Beth Phoenix who was in the crowd came out to save him. Since then fans are predicting a potential match between Rhea Ripley and Beth.
Beth Phoenix who is a former three times WWE Women’s champion and a former WWE Divas champion recently spoke to Busted Open Radio where she talked about potentially having a match with the former WWE Raw Women’s champion Rhea Ripley. She said;
“This is the answer everyone hates; we’ll have to see. [laughs]. I don’t know. With wrestling, I take it one day at a time. Everything changes, anything can happen. That’s a young lady I have loved watching grow and flourish and thrive.
“Adam’s [Edge] promo was a shoot. The intention of having Rhea, Damian Priest, and Finn Balor from the start was to give three talents that deserve to be at the top of the heap that platform. They also have to shine on that platform. We saw Damian Priest kick ass on Monday.”
“Rhea Ripley is stepping up and standing out like she deserves. I’m not really happy about the ball shot. I want to say nice things, but that pissed me off. I hold a grudge, deep in my heart. Whether or not I get to exact some revenge remains to be seen. I’d love to see it happen.”
