The current WWE champion Big E is also a former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion recently gave his opinion on part timers wrestling in WWE. He also said that he wanted to focus more on wrestling regular professional wrestlers then part timer stars.
The focus of WWE on part timer wrestlers is not something new, it is going on for ages. And we are not talking about the celebrities here. That is a completely different story and whenever there is Celebrity wrestles in WWE, they are bound to win their matches. Same thing is applied for the part timer wrestlers as well. It is very rare that a part timer wrestler loses back to back.

WWE RAW – Big E Gives His Opinion On Part Timers In WWE
Even though one may argue that Goldberg loses most of his matches in spite of being a part timer. But he has won some matches as well which he did not need to win. And challenges for World Championship most of the times. Maybe WWE are getting sidelined from their idea of crowning part timer as champion.
Fans and most of the wrestlers do not like to wrestle part time was very much. It all started when Shawn Michaels faced Hulk Hogan SummerSlam 2005. Michaels was quite unhappy with the build up process and with Hogan during that feud.

When the Rock defeated CM Punk to become WWE champion in 2013, it also angled CM Punk. The incident just took place before WrestleMania 29. So it also prevented CM Punk from defending his World Championship at the biggest stage of them all. This was not the first time but WWE took spotlights away from regular stars just to promote part timers for so many times. Most of the regular stars do not like to wrestle part timers.
Big E is also a former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion recently gave his opinion on part timers wrestling in WWE. He also said that he wanted to focus more on wrestling regular professional wrestlers then part timer stars. He said;

“I’m not here to demean anyone being a part-timer. If someone said, ‘I’ll give you $5 million to wrestle two times in a year,’ who is going to turn that down? I’m not one to judge anyone’s contract, but I do understand, the perception that we’re the ones, the guy’s on all the shows, we’re doing live events, media for three hours, and putting the work in. Many times, for less money.
“My focus, moving forward, is on the guys here on a nightly basis and in the locker room every week. Of course, I want to face the Keith Lees. Let’s get The Hurt Business back together.
“There are so many guys I want to focus on. I understand the backlash with people seeing older guys coming back, but I’m just asking for one night. One match. Then we’ll all move on.”
