The current WWE World Champion Big E who is also a former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion recently talked about he is desired to wrestle the former three times WWE World Champion AJ styles. Styles who is currently focusing on the WWE Raw Tag Team championships has been a consistent main event star during his run in Friday Night Smackdown.
The WWE Champion Big E has a lot of words in praise for the former two times WWE World champion but it looks like it is quite late to give a 5 Star match along with AJ Styles. When Styles started WWE career, the promotion had big plans for him. He won the WWE World Championship three times in a very short amount of time. But as WWE started to change their strategy pushing wrestlers, the push of AJ styles was gone.

Big E Wants To Face AJ Styles
Right now things are getting quite clear that the WWE will not push any wrestler who became famous outside of WWE. They will only push their home grown talents. And AJ Styles is not there home grown talent, he became famous from TNA Wrestling. Of course, Big E and AJ Styles have the potential to produce a 5 Star match together, but it is quite late now. There are fat chances of WWE would book AJ Styles to give such a match.
WWE is trying to build E as the face of the promotion next to the current WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns. The condition AJ styles is going through, he is not needed to be faced by any face of the promotion unless WWE starts to treat him with what he actually deserves. But there are that chances that WWE would book AJ Styles as a main event star once again.

Big E who is also a former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion recently spoke to Sports Illustrated where he talked about he is desired to wrestle the former three times WWE World Champion AJ styles. He said;
“I can’t say yes to that idea any stronger or louder. Styles is a pioneer. I have so much respect for what he’s done throughout his career. If his whole career stopped before he got to WWE, he still would have been one of the best of this generation.

“The fact that he was able to do everything he did outside of here, and then come here and keep cooking, it’s amazing. I have so much respect for him as a performer.
“We’ve had a few interactions, and we had a couple matches with Y2AJ [Styles and Chris Jericho] when they were together, but I would love a proper one-on-one program with him. He is ideal—he’s so good, his offense is so believable, and I could fly around him.”
