Booker T Compares WWE Women’s Division With Wrestling Legends
Women have main evented WrestleMania as well. It is something that we could never expect around 10 years ago. But women have proved they are nothing less than men, they could do everything that men are capable of, and that is rightfully true.
The Attitude Era must have been the biggest and arguably the best time period of WWE history. Most of the fans accept it too. But how good was it for the women in WWE. It was the time when WWE started to objectify women.
You could not watch weekly WWE shows with your parents in that time. Your parents could allow you to see Stone Cold Steve Austin getting busted open, but they would never allow you to watch Sable. The women’s wrestling of the Attitude Era was the darkest side of that time period that WWE Wanted all of us to forget.

But which time women’s wrestling improved a lot in WWE. Everytime you ask a resting pundit or a fan, which wrestlers are the beginners of the women’s revolution in WWE. Nobody will tell you the names of Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch, it actually started holding the hands of Trish Stratus, Lita, Molly Holly and Victoria.
However the actual beginning of the women’s Revolution is considered when the triple threat match between Charlotte Flair Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks took place at WrestleMania 31. But such a huge revolution does not occur in one single night.
It takes a long time period. And that is exactly what happened. Every single woman that has ever been involved in WWE are all responsible for this amazing moment revolution in WWE.

Booker T who is a former five times WCW World Heavyweight champion and a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently spoke on his Hall of Fame podcast where he compared the Women’s division of WWE with the professional wrestling legends such as Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage and Ric Flair. He said;
“You know, man, I look at Rhea Ripley like Hulk Hogan. That’s what she’s like. She’s like the female Hulk Hogan. She’s a money machine, she’s a draw. I like her in a tag team thing, maybe they’re shielding her, saving her (for a different storyline), one of those type of deals. She’s definitely a star, a major star.”
“Charlotte is the Ric Flair. Sasha would be like the Macho Man, that’s no disrespect or anything like that.”
