Two times WWE Hall of Famer Booker T who is a former five times WCW World Heavyweight champion and a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently gave advice to Xavier Woods scenes he won the King of the Ring tournament. Booker T won the King of the Ring tournament back in 2006.
Xavier Woods participated in the King of the Ring tournament of this year along with seven other competitors. Last time the tournament occurred was in 2019. That year it was a 16 man tournament, this was the reason why it reminded of the traditional tournaments. Since king of the Ring has always been a 16 man tournament. But once again WWE decided to book an eight man tournament this year, which honestly did not make any sense.
Booker T Gives His Advice To Xavier Woods
When there is plenty of wrestlers who could participate and there are a lot of wrestlers who had nothing to do at all. This was a good opportunity to give everyone a proper booking. But WWE decided to go back to 8 men tournament once again.
Xavier Woods would be winning the tournament was very much predictable. Even though Finn Balor needed to win it more but WWE would be pushing Woods now was very much predictable. He was the only member of the New Day who did not get any solo accomplishment yet, when the other two members had been WWE champions. It is quite obvious that it is now Xavier’s time.
So what exactly is next for him? The best thing to give him would be a run as the WWE Intercontinental Champion. Since WrestleMania 37, WWE is failing to book the Intercontinental championship properly. There has been no concrete feud for the title yet. Featuring Xavier Woods on the title picture would be a good idea. But the probabilities are indicating towards age SmackDown Tag Team title feud against with the Usos waiting for him along with Kofi Kingston.

“Man, winning King of the Ring is one of those things to where you have an opportunity and I always say, “When you’ve got an opportunity, you got to take advantage of it.” It’s like a moment. It could be there and the next minute it could be gone.
“So, Xavier Woods has a chance to create what people are going to remember from him being King. There again, he’s definitely going to have to step out the box, but I don’t think that’s something that Xavier Woods is ever had problem doing is stepping outside of the box. You got to be able to laugh at yourself.
“I don’t think Xavier Woods has a problem with that as well. Such as I didn’t have a problem with laughing at myself. So, I think he’s going to be okay. We’ll see exactly if he lives up to the role of King Booker.”
