Two times WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently spoke on the infamous Zombie Lumberjack match that took place in the WrestleMania Backlash pay per view event. The match has been criticized vastly by the fans and the critics and a lot of fans and critics are already considering this match as not only the watch match of the year but the worst match in WWE history.
But there are a lot of wrestlers who showed their defensive mentalities regarding this match. For an example former WWE United States champion MVP defended the Zombie angle on Twitter. Reminded the fans what is the gimmick of the Undertaker.

Booker T On The Zombie Lumberjack Match
Honestly, MVP has a logical point. The Undertaker was literally a deadman whose soul was kept by Paul Bearer. These type of gimmicks are pretty common back in those days. But now a days WWE are trying to come up with realistic gimmicks only. This is a big reason why fans were not being able to digest this Zombie angle.

Besides WWE earned a lot of money from this match. The news broke earlier that WWE and more than a million dollar from this Zombie angle. As we all know the match was actually booked to promote the incoming Zack Snyder movie, The Army of the Dead.
Former five times WCW world heavyweight champion Booker T recently spoke on this match on the Hall Of Fame podcast of him. He said;

“It’s like doing a commercial or doing something for a movie, and we do it live. Just say for instance, the movie The Wrestler. We actually have to shoot the scene at the show. We need the audience and ambience to make everything right. I’m all down for getting a check and tying it into my product and my show. We don’t know how much more money will be dished out later. Batista made some money perhaps as well doing the voice over kicking the show off.”
