Two times WWE Hall of famer Booker T who is a former five time WCW World Heavyweight champion and a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently said that WWE women’s division needs to be revamped.

The women’s division of WWE is as old as the promotion itself. The first Women’s title of WWE was founded back in 1956. The title was even seven year older than WWE Championship itself. It was treated quite well till the early 90s. From the attitude Era the division was going through a terrible downfall. In this period of time, women in WWE were mostly treated as sex objects. It never looks like the division has a future in WWE.

Booker T Wants To See A Revamp In WWE Women’s Division

But the division was given a boost in 2015 when the women’s revolution came into existence. Women in WWE did something that nobody expected. They prove that they are nothing less than the men in professional wrestling. Women even main evented the biggest professional wrestling stage of them all; WrestleMania.

But since the covid-19 pandemic struck, the booking of the women’s division along with the other divisions became really weak. There are no constant feuds, the Tag Team division of women did not receive a proper booking for quite a long time.

They broke most of the Tag Team they had for absolutely no reason. Everything in WWE women’s division seems so clueless right now. If it keep going on like this, it would not have any bright future. Only a revamp can save the women’s division of WWE.

Booker T who is a former five time WCW World Heavyweight champion and a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently spoke on a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast where he said that WWE women’s division needs to be revamped. He said;

“I think the women’s division needs to be revamped just like NXT 2.0 honestly.  We have so much talent as far as the women go.  We really don’t get a chance to see the vast majority of the ladies on the roster.  Of course we know Charlotte.  Of course we know Becky.  Of course we know Sasha.  Who else is out there other than Mandy Rose and her crew that you really want to look at, watch, and go, ‘I need to see them.  I need to see more of them.’

“It’s because Mandy Rose has been given an opportunity which she’s taken full advantage of, going out there and making you look, making you feel a certain way, and making you want to tune in when Mandy and that crew walk out.  As far as standing out and making you want to see them, I think there needs to be a whole lot more of that in the women’s division in order to really make an impact.  That’s just my opinion.”
