Braun Strowman Discusses His Release From WWE
But throughout 2021 WWE went on a releasing spree as they released a lot of wrestlers and workers from the promotion due to the covid 19 pandemic outbreak and they had to adjust their budget. Strowman was one of the unfortunate ones who lost his job during the covid 19 outbreak.
But he worked on different professional wrestling promotions Like The Ring Of Honor. It was a big blow for the WWE fans, he was not the only big name that was released from WWE during this time. They released some other big names to like Bray Wyatt and Aleister Black.

Recently, Vince McMahon stepped down from his role and announced his retirement and his son in law Triple H became the Head of Creative of WWE. Since taking the charge of WWE, the former fourteen times WWE World Champion brought back a lot of talents that were released from WWE during the pandemic. Strowman was one of the wrestlers whom Triple H brought back as well. Even though he is yet to challenge for the World Title but we are pretty sure WWE will elevate him to his actual level soon.
Braun Strowman who is also a former two times WWE Raw Tag Team Champion recently spoke to Toronto Sun where he talked about his release from WWE earlier last year and he expressed how he felt about it. He said;

“It was a very hard pill to swallow because at the end of the day, I realized that I was put on this Earth to be a WWE Superstar. At first it was a big shock because it was like ‘Alright, what am I going to do now?’ I didn’t want to do anything else. It was a nice opportunity to take a step back and appreciate what I had been blessed in life with and what I had done with this company in the first six years.
“If you look back, you name it, I did it. I won every title except one. I main evented every pay-per-view, I wrestled everybody under the sun, and I sold out every building on this Earth. And when you’re on the road every day in a different city, different country, different town, you kind of get blinders on and it’s just like driving on the autobahn at 200 miles an hour… you don’t realize what’s going on in life. So it was an awesome opportunity in a bad (situation) to take a step back and realize how blessed I truly was.”
