Former WWE star and a former WWE Universal champion Braun Strowman who is also a former WWE Intercontinental Champion recently made a challenge to former WWE star and a former three times WWE World Champion Bray Wyatt.
It is not that these two athletes did not face each other before. They did present some good matches in WWE before, but in most cases Bray Wyatt came out victorious. The duo had a match at SummerSlam pay per view event of last year and the match was for the WWE Universal Championship. Bray defeated Braun in that match. Just the previous paper view event of WWE, the Horror show at Extreme Rules, the duo had another match and it was also won by Bray Wyatt.
Braun Strowman Wants To Face Bray Wyatt
Braun Strowman started his career as a member of The Wyatt Family, as a partner of Bray Wyatt. We are not counting his time being a rosebud of Adam Rose. This appearance was so forgettable, that even Vince McMahon did not know about it.
Later he made his official debut under his real gimmick as a member of the Wyatt Family that was run by Bray Wyatt. Later he started running solo and he had massive success in the way in a very short amount of time.
Recently Braun made a challenge to Bray Wyatt, but it is not confirmed if the match would really take place, and if it does, what would be the venue of this match. Rumours of Bray Wyatt joining AEW is floating around the world of professional wrestling for quite a long time, maybe Braun is going there as well. Or maybe they would fight ine an independent circuit ring. Nothing has been confirmed so far.
Braun Strowman who is also a former WWE Intercontinental Champion recently spoke to Control Your Narrative where he made a challenge to former WWE star and a former three times WWE World Champion Bray Wyatt. He said;
“I don’t know if it’s really one person. I think it’s anyone, anyone that has something inside them that they need to get out. Anybody that needs to be set free. These things have always been good [stares at his hands] at setting things free…
“There’s only one man on this earth that I want to see knocking that door. He’s family, he showed me things in life that I never could have imagined seeing. He bestowed the gift upon me of being the godfather to his son. Windham, I’m waiting for you brother.”
