ToggleAEW President Tony Khan recently made a huge announcement that he is trying his best to bring WWE legend and Hall of Famer Goldberg to AEW. The former three times WWE World Champion would be a huge addition to the AEW roster and it would definitely improve their viewership and ticket sales.
Goldberg was recently let go by WWE and the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion was unhappy about the way he was treated by WWE at his ending days with the promotion. There had been a big rumor of the WWE Hall of Famer potentially joining AEW soon which is the biggest rival of WWE right now.

Breaking News: Tony Khan Confirms WWE Legend’s Potential Move to AEW
During the post-Double or Nothing media scrum AEW President Tony Khan was asked if he was actually trying to bring Goldberg to AEW and if the rumors are true. Khan revealed that it was actually and he is desperately trying to bring the pro wrestling legend. Here is what he had to say;
“Yeah, I have. I have talked to Bill (laughs),” revealed Khan. “It wouldn’t be that unusual. I’ve talked to Bill when he’s not been under contract at times, and I have a good relationship with Bill. I have had a good conversation with him, but I’ve had a lot of great conversations with Bill.”

Tony Khan Wants To Bring Goldberg To AEW
“Bill’s family have done a lot of great things in Jacksonville. Bill’s related to the Wolfson family, who built the Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville. Bill’s a great former football star, I work a lot in football, so we have a lot in common. We have a lot of mutual friends, and I have a really good relationship with Bill,”
AEW had been struggling badly to improve their TV Ratings since the very first day. However, additions like CM Punk and Bryan Danielson helped to grow their TV Ratings a little but it could never be as good as WWE and they were not good enough with their mighty competitor.

Signing Goldberg would definitely give Tony Khan a huge boost to compete with WWE. Vince McMahon blindly trusted Goldberg to improve ticket sales and TV Ratings. But he never was a big plan for Triple H. We hope to see him in AEW and this would definitely be a big challenge for WWE.
