Tomorrow’s Smackdown already looks pretty awesome on paper as two Money in the Bank qualifying matches have already been announced for the show. The biggest attraction of the Friday Night of WWE for this week has to be the 1000 day title reign celebration of the WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.
Speaking of Roman Reigns, Fightful Select reported that WWE is going to introduce a new Unified Championship title for the Tribal Chief and he will not be moving around with two championship belts. If the rumours are true, no other occasion would have been any better than the 1000 day celebration night to introduce the new title.

The celebration is already pretty anticipated as the fans are waiting to see the next chapter of the Bloodline storyline which would continue this week on Smackdown. At Night of Champions this past Saturday, Jimmy Uso shocked the entire world when he betrayed The Tribal Chief during his Tag Team title match.
Jey Uso’s stand is still not cleared, and there is no confirmation yet on whether Roman Reigns would defend his title against Jimmy Uso at Money in the Bank or he would team up with Solo Sikoa to take on The Usos at the mentioned PLE. We may get to know the next part tomorrow on Smackdown.
Roman Reigns To Get Unified WWE Universal Championship Belt Tomorrow On Smackdown
The new introduction of the newly designed title would be a cherry on top of the cake. This is definitely an exciting news. Roman Reigns had been walking around with two championship belts since WrestleMania 38, it was not unified since WWE did not decline the possibility of splitting the two World titles.
But after the introduction of the new World Heavyweight Championship, it seems there is no need to split the Universal title and the WWE title. So the bold decision was finally taken. The last time WWE merged two titles was back in 2013 when the previous World Heavyweight Championship got merged with WWE title and WWE megastar The Rock revealed the new design.
In spite it is a big news, there is one negative thing about it. This is the death of the prestigious WWE Championship which was introduced 60 long years ago. It had a huge history as it was held by some of the biggest names in the history of wrestling. But we already know that WWE does not value their title history much.
