ToggleKurt Angle is a legend of professional wrestling who is also an Olympic gold medalist. He started his professional wrestling career through WWE and in a very short amount of time he received to massive success in the world of pro wrestling. It took him only one year time to win the WWE World Championship.
Kurt Angle was one of the famous names when he was active in WWE and he also was one of the biggest attractions of the promotion as well. He mostly worked as a heel in the promotion and he won multiple big championships including a total of 5 WWE World Championship and the WCW World Championship one time.

TNA Wrestling was the biggest Rival promotion of WWE during that time. It is later reported that McMahon wanted him to work in the newly Re launched ECW as the face of the brand and Angle was not happy with this booking decision, so he decided to leave WWE.
Angle has always been treated as the top star of TNA Wrestling where he won a total of 6 World Championships. In spite after joining TNA, Angle remained angry with WWE. Recently he talked about his anger with the promotion while working in TNA. Speaking on his the Kurt Angle show podcast, he said;

“Well, I was so angry at the WWE. I had a painkiller problem. I was getting injured quite a bit, and they had me working my butt off full-time. You know, I just wanted some time off. And I started lashing out at Vince McMahon and everybody else, and I was pretty much an asshole. I look back, and I think, you know what? I’m the one that got myself into that situation.
“You know, the thing is, Vince and the company and everybody, they were dodging me. They weren’t answering my calls. I was really reaching out. I really wanted help, and nobody was really helping me out. When I look back at it now, I’m like. It’s nobody’s fault but mine. And I realized that. So I, you know, I went public and said, listen, it wasn’t the WWE’s fault. It was my fault. And I take the blame for it.”

Angle later returned to WWE in 2016 and he got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as well. He also worth as a General Manager and an active wrestler for a while too. The wrestled his last match at WrestleMania 35 in a losing effort to Baron Corbin. After that his health kept on declining and he could never return to the world of professional wrestling.
