Trinity went by the name of Naomi in WWE and she was one of the most famous wrestlers in the women’s division of the promotion. She had been treated as a main event star in the promotion constantly and she won the Women’s World Championship two times in total.
Last year at WrestleMania 38, she teamed up with Sasha Banks to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team championships. They were doing an excellent job as the Tag Team champions. But they shocked the entire world during an episode of Monday Night RAW when they walked out of WWE never to come back.

The exact reason behind walking out of WWE was never explained. Trinity is now working in the Impact Wrestling. Finally she explained why she walked out of WWE along with Sasha Banks that night when she spoke to the New York Post recently. Here is what the former two times champion had to say;
On the decision to walk out of WWE: “There was a lot that happened. There was a lot that was said that ultimately led to me being put in a position and feeling like that was the best for me and what I needed to do. I still believe that. I still stand on that and that’s just what it is.”
Trinity Is Working In Impact Wrestling Right Now
On fans’ reaction to the walkout: “I just hope that through all of the drama and the rumors and the messiness that the one thing people do know about us is how much we care about women’s wrestling.”
On staying close with Mone throughout the experience: “Me and her, we just had each other it felt like. Other than Tamina, Bayley checking in on us regularly, that was it. We just had each other going through that. Nobody understands the magnitude of what happened and what really went on and why we feel the way we feel and where we are but me and her and the people that were involved that day. It just goes to show how real our friendship is and how real all of this is.”
Sasha Banks is now active in the NJPW under the new ring name of Mercedes Mone and we have already mentioned that Naomi is now working as Trinity in Impact Wrestling. Before they joined their respective promotions, there were big views that they might consider returning to WWE again. But that did not happen. We are still hoping to see them back at where they belong.
