The comeback of Brie and Nikki Bella in the WWE as a tag team has been a matter of discussion among the fans for quite sometimes, now. It actually started, earlier the year as the two were announced for the due Hall of Fame induction from last year. While promoting the appearance, the duo was pretty open about making a wrestling comeback.
Now it appears that Brie and Nikki Bella have started in-ring training to make that return into a reality. As noted, they have expressed heavy interest in getting back inside the squared circle for just about a year. Then a positive note was found about it when they got physical at WrestleMania 37. Now that both The Bella Twins have given birth and been mothers for almost a year, this might be the right time to make the return happen.

In addition, Brie and Nikki Bella spoke to Entertainment Tonight’s Deidre Behar to confirm the same. Brie initially talked about her match against Stephanie McMahon at SummerSlam 2014 while she added that she and her sister are definitely going to make a comeback.
“I’ll never forget the moment that I wrestled Stephanie McMahon at SummerSlam, and to see her three little girls – they were little at the time – their faces when we came back, they looked at their mom like she was a superhero, and I want that one day,” Brie said. “I just thought that was the coolest thing. So, the Bellas are definitely going to make a comeback.

Brie and Nikki Bella want to have tag titles in their resume
The younger Bella didn’t want to mention when that may happen but one or the other, it will be happening, for sure. AJ Styles once used a t-shirt with the tagline “never rest, never rust” written on it. Nikki Bella seems to have to adapt that approach to wrestling again. The longest-reigning Divas Champion also confirmed she has already been training for the wrestling comeback.
“For me, I’m definitely starting that preparation,” Nikki Bella said. “I want to train hard for it. When we come back, I want to change my style in the ring a little bit. I want to make a statement.”
Brie Bella added one more reason why The Bella Twins has to be back in the competition. She and Nikki Bella has always performed as a tag team in the WWE. So, down the line, they can’t afford it to be mentioned as a Hall of Fame tag team who don’t have a tag team title reign in their resume.
“The one thing is that WWE brought the Women’s Tag Team Titles in,” Brie said. “We were like, ‘Wait a second, how do the Bellas not have this on the résumé?’ It’s tempting because we would love to go fight for the tag titles because that’s what we’ve always been: a tag team.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
