AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker has been earning quite the praise from the professional wrestling circuit for his work ethic. She’s maintaining balance on two careers, wrestling, and dental which are not at all easy. But despite all her duties, she managed to establish herself as one of the major representatives of the All Elite Wrestling promotion.
Dr. Britt Baker is one of the top stars in AEW and one of the top female superstars in all of pro-wrestling, today, but it wasn’t the case, all along. The AEW Women’s Champion remembered a time not very long ago when she was fighting to make her presence felt in the landscape of professional wrestling.
AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker Speaks On Wrestling And Dental Schedule
The big break for Britt Baker came in 2018 at the All In pay-per-view where she wrestled in a four-corner survival match against Madison Rayne, Tessa Blanchard, and Chelsea Green. She was the newbie in that match in comparison to her opponents in that match who eventually left her mark in that multi-woman bout.
“I was the girl who nobody knew who she was,” Britt Baker told Bleacher Report. “Madison [Rayne], Tessa, and Chelsea had all been on multiple TV shows by then. They had traveled the world. I had graduated from dental school; that was my claim to fame at the time. So that was really a test for me. I was the underdog. It’s kind of funny, after that, that I’m one of the top girls at AEW now, so it’s kind of cool that it’s come full circle.”

Britt Baker got the first break at All In 2018
The inaugural All In proved to be a huge turning point for Britt Baker as she got herself attached with All Elite Wrestling. Despite being the least known wrestler compared to her opponents, she is the only name who was signed with AEW. But the reigning champion still recognizes and respects the ability of the female wrestlers that she’s competed during her career, thus far.
“I always say my generation was the real-name girls,” Baker explained. “Because it was Chelsea Green, Deonna Purrazzo, Rachael Ellering, Tessa Blanchard, and myself.”
Britt Baker has been highly successful as the AEW Women’s World Champion as she had defended her title against the likes of Nyla Rose, Red Velvet, Ruby Soho, Kris Statlander, Anna Jay, and Tay Conti to retain her title. Rumors are high that AEW is planning the biggest AEW Women’s Division match featuring her and Thunder Rosa in the near future.
