Brock Lesnar is a limited-time performer in the WWE ever since his return to the company in 2012. He was built as the biggest star power of the company who went on to destroy resident WWE legends like The Undertaker, John Cena, Triple H, and many more on his way to becoming The Beast Incarnate.

Going by Brock Lesnar’s usual schedule, he generally performs in the Big-Four PPV events of the year. Reports have already indicated that he was scheduled to go into a hiatus following Crown Jewel 2021. So it makes sense why WWE has announced a storyline suspension for him to ensure that he remains away from the programming.

Royal Rumble will be the second WWE PPV event in 2022

The 2022 Royal Rumble will take place on Saturday, January 29 from The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The venue has a capacity of 66,965 fans for NFL games, but it has previously been set up to accommodate 80,000 people for other events. WWE will genuinely try to make the capacity as much as possible.

From October 16 onwards, tickets for Royal Rumble 2022 went live and a tweet from America’s Center featured Brock Lesnar in the middle of the promotional material. The other WWE Superstars in the poster were WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, WWE Champion Big E, SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, and Bianca Belair.

Generally, the main event attractions are used as front figures of such a big-scale event. Going by that logic, Brock Lesnar is likely to feature in a big match at Royal Rumble 2022. A rematch against Roman Reigns for the Universal Title is very much likely while an appearance for the 30-man Rumble match can’t be wiped out so that The Beast can secure the Wrestlemania main event slot for himself.

Nothing around Royal Rumble 2022 has officially been announced on WWE’s part while do know that it will be the second pay-per-view event of next year following WWE Day 1 on January 1.
