Next week’s Super SmackDown will be a loaded episode and Brock Lesnar is likely to be the headliner of the show as he will make his return to WWE TV. It was officially announced that next Friday’s episode from the Madison Square Garden in New York City will have the former Universal Champion in attendance as he would focus on the current champion.

Paul Heyman featured a backstage segment of last night’s show where Kayla Braxton was interviewing him. His phone rang, with Lesnar’s theme song playing as the ringtone, and it was Lesnar was calling. Lesnar interrupted Heyman at one point and wanted him to deliver a message to WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Heyman later told The Tribal Chief that they have a problem in the form of Brock Lesnar. Reigns downplayed the threat and said he will smash The Beast when the time is right, but he then started to worry as Heyman informed him that Lesnar will be in attendance for the Super SmackDown next week at Madison Square Garden. Reigns also worried about Lesnar might coming back to SmackDown to cost him the title defense against Finn Balor but that wasn’t the case.

Edge ran out to make save and later challenged Rollins during a backstage segment. He promised to burn Rollins down one more time at MSG. He also noted that this time it will end worse than it did at SummerSlam.
