2019 Money in the Bank winner, Brock Lesnar kicked off this week’s WWE Raw in the midst of loud boos of the audience. Paul Heyman accompanied him to cut a promo and teasing that he could cash in on any champion on either WWE Raw or Smackdown. It did not take long for the Universal Champion Seth Rollins to come out and demand that Lesnar cashes in on him. Soon, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston was out as well pledging the same on the opening segment.

Heyman backed down with his client informing none of those will happen. Later the night, Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston had to team up in the main event of WWE Raw. They defeated the heel team of Lashley and Corbin, successfully after which Brock Lesnar appeared to the ring, again. This time around, he was going for an attack on the two champions. But they have chairs in hand forcing him for a retreat.
Heyman then declared that Brock Lesnar would announce his championship opponent via the Money in the Bank contract, next week. This makes WWE Raw a must-see as we wait for a huge championship match. It is likely that the title match will go down at Super ShowDown on June 7th.
Seth Rollins delivered a dream match at Money in the Bank for the Universal Championship. It was for the very first time that he squared off inside the ring against AJ Styles. The Architect and The Phenomenal One justified their legacy by producing a match that may have overshadowed the hypes, perhaps. This is what the WWE Universe has expected from them.
But Seth Rollins could barely take a breather following Money in the Bank as a beast returned targeting the lost championship. None other than Brock Lesnar came back to WWE and won the contract that guarantees a future championship match. Rumors already have Lesnar may feature in a match against Seth Rollins in a Universal title match at the next Saudi Arabia show.
With Brock Lesnar winning Money in the Bank, the question was whether he’d cash in the contract to confirm the match. Previously, at Wrestlemania 35, Seth Rollins slew the beast to become the new Universal Champion and be the fighting champion that the audience wishes to see. They did not want to see the former champion to be back, at all. Unfortunately, he’s back and will involve in the title picture, no matter what, as hinted on WWE Raw.
