Brock Lesnar considered to be a good friend in real life
Now, while speaking on Ryan Satin’s Out Of Character podcast, Benjamin talked about Brock Lesnar’s current gimmick in the WWE. The former mid-card champion claimed that this babyface run of the seven-time WWE Champion is close to his real life,
“I would say Lesnar’s current character is the most like he is in real-life, amongst people that he likes. I tell people all the time, one of the best things about Brock is you never have to wonder where you stand with him. Because he won’t waste any time in telling you, he will show you. He either wants nothing to do with you or you are a genuinely good friend. So, what you’re seeing to me, is Brock when he’s relaxed and in amongst friends.”
Shelton Benjamin has the will of facing off his good friend, inside the squared circle. But due to their positioning on the roster, it’s highly unlikely that they will compete in a match. However, Benjamin recently hinted at a singles bout against Brock Lesnar in the future. We will have to wait and see whether that match will be reserved, somewhere down the road.
Brock Lesnar is a combined 10-time world champion in the WWE while Shelton never had the opportunity to be a world championship-caliber superstar. During his first run with the WWE, Shelton won the Intercontinental Championship three times and the United States Championship, once.
