Former WWE NXT Superstar Chelsea Green has broken his wrist again while competing in her latest match. She has reportedly been nursing an injured wrist after this past weekend’s Impact Sacrifice pay-per-view.
As seen at the event, Chelsea Green made a surprise appearance at Sacrifice to challenge the dual champion in Deonna Purrzaao. She went after the ROH title and failed in the attempt of seizing the opportunity. During the match, there was a moment where the referee threw up the X-sign with his arms to sign that the challenger was dealing with a legitimate injury.

Deonna checked on her, but Chelsea Green hit her with a strike to the face to continue the match. Deonna then applied her Armbar submission but the referee stopped the match due to the injury. The champion refused to let go of the hold and it was unclear at that point whether it was a serious injury or not.
“I could copy & paste this caption by now… lol Thank you for the support, calls and texts. ? Sh*t happens, but @IMPACTWRESTLING has my back.,” Chelsea Green gave an update on her latest condition alongside a picture.

She was seen giving a thumbs up while sporting a cast that indicates that she was doing okay. Answering a fan’s question, the former Hot Mess also confirmed that it was the same wrist that she has injured several times in the past.
Chelsea Green originally returned to Impact Wrestling at Slammiversary last year, teaming with fiancée Matt Cardona to defeat Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood in a mixed tag team match. She delivered a one-arm Canadian Destroyer to Brian Myers which put her in the cast, back then.
Chelsea Green left WWE with an injured wrist
Earlier to that, Chelsea Green injured that same during her WWE SmackDown debut. That injury eventually caused her the release from WWE as part of their ongoing budget cuts that started due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, she was sidelined with the wrist injury suffered during her first WWE SmackDown TV match on November 13, 2020.
Afterward, Chelsea Green returned to action in Impact Wrestling in July 2021 and also made appearances on promotions like NWA, GCW, and ROH before the latter promotion was purchased by AEW.
Green recently discussed her wrist condition on her “Green With Envy” podcast and confirmed she wrestled with the broken arm during her Impact return,
“So obviously I’ve been talking about the familiarity — look at that fancy f*cking word. Ah, the familiarity of IMPACT, but one thing that wasn’t familiar clearly was wrestling with a broken arm,” Green said. (Quotes courtesy Post Wrestling)
