After staying away from the limelight in recent times, Brooke Hogan, the daughter of legendary pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan recently opened up about her family issues. Over the recent years, they have gone through a lot as their reputation was at stake. But, ultimately, they stayed together to overcome those tough times.
Six years ago, Hulk Hogan was accused of racial slurs to a woman which led to his firing from WWE. Consequence-wise the legendary wrestler’s Hall of Famer status was also taken away. There were doubts about him coming back to the WWE or any other pro-wrestling company. But later, Hogan managed to win the lawsuit and cleanse his image, as much as possible.

Brooke Hogan recently spoke with Hollywood Raw where she reflected on the struggles that her family has gone through following that incident. She admitted that it’s the worst feeling to get humiliated in everybody’s face with all the skeletons getting exposed. She also gave credit to his father to handle those situations in a gentle manner.
“Our family has been through a lot of crap, and I will say, my dad, it’s hard to have all your skeletons pulled out of your closet and just waved in front of everybody’s face and humiliated to the world. And then our family just goes through all this stuff,” Brooke Hogan continued.

“He has stayed so graceful through it all. I talked to him yesterday. I said, ‘It has to be so hard for you because it’s like you’ve got so many people poking at you, poking at you, poking at you, and you can never poke back. You can never say, yeah, I messed up, but this person did this too.’ You just can’t ever throw shade back because then it just makes you look worse when people are.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
Brooke Hogan also mentioned her father to be ‘gentle giant’ for keeping his cool during that bad phase. Thankfully, he’s come clean and his position was reinstated in the WWE who also made TV appearances, down the road.
As for Brooke Hogan, she was never associated with the Vince McMahon-owned brand but she did enjoy a short stint in TNA. The most infamous storyline of her was the romantic angle with Bully Raw where the duo even underwent a kayfabe marriage.
