Renee Young is happy that WWE Universe and AEW fans are praying for the recovery of her husband, Jon Moxley. The former world champion entered an inpatient program for alcohol treatment in an announcement that took the professional wrestling industry by storm. Being one of the most popular superstars, fans can’t help but keep thinking about her well-being.
Last night, Renee Young took to Twitter to express her gratitude to those who have reached out to her regarding the ongoing issue in her family. She said she’s proud of her husband as she sounded clearly supportive of Moxley’s decision to get some help in order to get rid of the addiction.
The Canadian journalist is apparently grateful for fans as they’ve sent their positive nod as the couple wanted to do what’s best for their family.
“Thanks for this outpouring of support. Jon is every bit of the badass we all know him to be. I couldn’t be more proud of him for getting to proper help he needs, and being given the space to put his health first. Couldn’t possibly love this man more,” the statement from Renee Young reads on Twitter.

Renee Young and Jon Moxley are together for almost 7 years
Renee Young, real name Renee Paquette, and Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose) met during their time in WWE. The two got married to each other in 2017 in Las Vegas, a home that now is up for sale. Starting as a backstage interviewer, Renee eventually joined the WWE Raw commentary team to make history. She alongside Jon has since parted ways with the company who now continues with her hosting gig with the Oral Sessions podcast.
Moxley was set to take on Orange Cassidy in a semifinal tournament match on this week’s Dynamite. From a wrestling standpoint, it wasn’t an ideal time to take a break but he kept his health in the forefront and opted to go for it. During his absence, Miro captured the spot as he will now face Bryan Danielson in the tournament finale.
It was really great to see the wrestling fraternity being united in support of Jon Moxley and Renee Young during their tough times. Back on June 15, it was revealed by the couple that they have become parents by welcoming a beautiful baby girl in Nora. The name of the baby was a tribute to Paquette’s grandmother whose name is Eleanor.
