Professional wrestling legend Bruce Prichard who is vastly known as Brother Love in the world of professional wrestling recently talked about the MSG Incident aka Madison Square Garden incident in 1996. Triple H was the only person who was punished after the incident and Prichard revealed the reactions of Shawn Michaels after Triple H got punished.

For those who are not aware of the MSG incident that took place in 1996, we are giving a short summary of the whole incident. It took place in 1996 as mentioned above. There there was a backstage group in WWE named The Kliq. Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Sean Waltman, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall were the five closest friends who together known as the the Kliq.

Bruce Prichard Reveals Shawn Michaels’ Reaction To Triple H’s Punishment After MSG Incident

It was the time when Kevin Nash and Scott Hall where going to the WCW. In an episode of Monday Night RAW, Shawn Michaels faced Diesel aka Kevin Nash in a steel cage match. After Shawn Michaels defeated Nash, all the members of the Kliq (except Sean Waltman) hugged each other and read each other’s hands.

It was not supposed to happen. Kevin Nash and Triple H were heels and Shawn Michaels and Scott hall Razor Ramon were babyfaces. It broke the kayfabe and Vince McMahon did not like it.

As a result, only Triple H was punished. Nash and Hall were already gone and Shawn Michaels was one of the main stars of that time. Triple H was scheduled to win the King of the Ring tournament of 1996. As a punishment, Triple H could not win be tournament and the pride was given to Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Bruce Prichard who is vastly known as Brother Love in the world of professional wrestling recently spoke on his Something To Wrestle with Bruce Prichard where he talked about the Madison Square Garden incident in 1996. revealed the reactions of Shawn Michaels after Triple H got punished. He said;

“He (Shawn Michaels) had conversations with all of us.  I remember being in a single dressing room at TV right after that and Shawn came in and threw the belt on the desk and said, ‘You can take the championship. I’m just going to take it back. I did it (the curtain call)’

Ok, yeah, you did. It was an unfortunate deal.  I didn’t like it. I’ve gone on record as saying it. Hunter came in with a completely different attitude. Hunter came in with an attitude of, ‘You know what? I apologize, I understand, and I’ll take whatever you guys want to give me.”
