Former WWE star and a former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Buddy Murphy who was currently going by the name of Buddy Mathews in the AEW recently talked about the House of Black faction of AEW and shared massive praise for it.
Buddy Murphy started his professional wrestling career back in 2007. He walked on some independent promotions before finally getting his big call up from WWE in 2013. Murphy joined the NXT upon signing with WWE and worked in the NXT for a number of years.

His NXT days were mostly remembered for his Tag Team works with Wesley Blake. He won the NXT Tag Team Championship once with his Tag Team partner Wesley Blake as well. The team of Murphy and Blake was quite successful in the NXT.
He also worked on the 205 Live and won WWE cruiserweight Championship once during his run in the 205 Live. He joined the main roster in 2019. He did not get enough chances in the main roster but his storyline with Seth Rollins and during this storyline and his kayfabe love angle with Aalyah Mysterio was liked by the fans. During this storyline it seemed like Murphy would be getting a push from WWE. But he did not get anything after the end of this storyline.

After his WWE release in 2021, he joined the Independent circuit and started doing really good. In 2022, he got a big call as he got sign for the AEW and he joined the House of Black faction led by Malakai Black and he is doing pretty good.
Buddy Murphy who was currently going by the name of Buddy Mathews in the AEW recently spoke to The Amin Show where he talked about the House of Black faction of AEW and shared massive praise for it. He said;

“We’re all perfectionists. We’re looking for the best outcome. If anyone, you know, goes off track, we will police ourselves and get the other one back, whether it’s Brody, myself, or Malakai.
“We will eventually straighten each other out. So, I think having that support system, you know, within the House. You know, keeps us all level-headed and keeps us all striving for greatness … The House is a very well-oiled machine.
“She’s the newest member of the House, you know, but I think that she will eventually, you know, start taking over that women’s division. She’s also a pivotal point.”
