Last week on NXT, the General Manager William Regal announced a 15 woman to determine the No 1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. The winner will meet Asuka for the NXT Women’s championship at the NXT Takeover – Chicago.

Some of those fifteen women were not familiar faces for fans. Some of these women will feature in the NXT Women’s tournament announced recently.

Among those unfamiliar faces, there were Candice LerRae!

For those who are not familiar with the name of Candice LeRae, she is one of the top stars of the indies. She is very famous among the fans and she is often compared with Dean Ambrose by her fans. She is best known for her mixed wrestling matches and hardcore actions in the indies. Candice LeRae seems to be competing in the NXT Women’s tournament and Candice’s addition will make the tournament even stronger. One more big info about her; she is the wife of NXT star Johnny Gargano.

Candice LeRae’s debut is a big thing and all the indie fans are really delightful to see her in the biggest wrestling promotion of the world. But there is a big question; is WWE planning anything special for her? Or will she just be treated as another jobber?

From her first match, it did not seem like WWE is planning anything big for her. WWE treated her as a complete jobber. Her entrance was not even televised as it took place during the commercial break. During the match, the commentators took her name but never been given a hype.

When Billy Kay eliminated Candice with a Big Boot, fans loathed it with boos. It showed how popular Candice is among the real fans. She is indeed one of the best female professional wrestlers and can easily on top of the women’s division.We hope WWE will serve Candice the actual treatment and the push she deserves.
