Carmella is one of the most active superstars on social media who also possesses a huge fan following from the WWE Universe. Every now and then, she mesmerizes her followers with some dazzling pictures to keep up with her shtick on social media as the ‘most beautiful woman in all of the WWE.’ But as they say, there’s always a flip side to the coin.
Being a WWE Superstar, one needs to deal with the hatred received from the negative fans. Superstars like Paige and Charlotte Flair have been dealing with it a lot and also opened up about the same. Now, Carmella has talked about the same and pointed out that this negativity is at an all-time high.
Carmella took to Twitter and Instagram, last night to post a no-makeup, non-filtered selfie photo. She commented on how worse the fan comments have recently become,
“To be completely honest, being on Instagram and Twitter recently has been hard. The hate and the threats are at an all-time high, it’s quite disturbing actually. I usually just try to post and leave it alone, but it’s hard to NOT read the negativity sometimes. Y’all can be so cruel. Luckily, I know who I am. I’m not going to let you get to me.”

Carmella has a strong message to her haters
Carmella has been drafted to Raw for the first time during her career on the main roster. Since then, she’s been claiming to bring the most beautiful persona over on Monday nights. Her heel character is bound to do some villainous antics on TV and hence the backlash on the internet from her haters might just continue. Towards them, the former Smackdown Women’s Champion had the following message,
“Y’all can be so cruel. Luckily, I know who I am. I’m not going to let you get to me. I just wanted to post this as a friendly reminder not to believe everything you read and see on the internet. Do you, for you. [peace emoji]”
We can only hope that this post from Carmella can send the concerned fans with the needed message who think it’s good to unleash hatred on her timeline. This was an empowering message which could inspire others who should not be ashamed to showcase their real side in front of the world.
Carmella has been a mainstay name on Smackdown since her return with a revamped gimmick, last fall. She’s had feuds with the likes of Sasha Banks or Bianca Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Title but those efforts weren’t successful. Now she is moving forward to win the WWE Queen’s Crown 2021 tournament.
