Wrestlemania 38 rivalry between Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey has already begun. It will run through the Elimination Chamber as both these ladies have been booked to perform in a tag team match. To hype things up, the two will feature in a segment on next week’s Smackdown which has already been filmed and created some online backlash.
WWE recently filmed a segment involving Charlotte Flair, Rousey, and the other two competitors at the announced tag team match, Naomi and Sonya Deville. The segment was taped this past Friday night while it will air as the go-home episode for Elimination Chamber of SmackDown, next Friday.
WWE Hall Of Famer Lita Thinks AEW Wasn’t A Right Fit For Her
Video footage captured by fans has been released on the internet and as seen in the segment, Ronda grabbed Charlotte by the hair and shoved her onto the table in what could possibly be a contract signing segment. It seems like the champion clearly botched the spot, as seen in released footage.

Charlotte Flair always remains in the limelight
Fans were quick to point out that “The Queen” missed her cue as she failed to sell the spot, correctly. One pointed out that this was the second-time Charlotte Flair had ‘intentionally’ botched a spot. The last time she did so was by falsifying a dropping move of a championship belt with Becky Lynch which created so many backstage news.
This isn’t something new for Charlotte Flair who’s been one of the best female performers in the professional wrestling world. Being at the top, all the time lands her trouble at a frequent rate and she knows how to handle it. She is slated to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rousey at WrestleMania 38 and that won’t be an easy outing for her in the ring.
As noted, Charlotte Flair is a prolific performer, who has proven her capability, time and time again. It’s a fact that she’s taking forward his father WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair’s legacy but she may have to fight out with criticisms all the time just for the strong booking WWE reserves for her. She’s been the champion since the summer of 2022 and she’s not dropping the title at least until April.
