Charlotte Flair has been off the WWE television since June. There have been multiple return theories available regarding her comeback to the company, as early as possible which may not be the case. For the first time ever since her debut on the main roster, the second generation athlete will have to stay away from wrestling for a longer timespan.
The good news is that Charlotte Flair is back in the gym for the first time since undergoing the surgery to fix a lingering implant issue. She provided an update on her status through a post on her Instagram story, a screengrab of which can be seen below.
“I took 8 weeks off of the gym…ready to find my groove again,” she wrote while breaking the silence on her physical status.

But the not so good news is that there’s still no word on when Charlotte Flair will be back in action. This isn’t the first time that she’s needed a hiatus due to the implant issues. She previously hurriedly returned to the competition which damaged the silicons. As a result, she has to be more careful, this time around.
Recently, Ric Flair appeared on The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast to provide an update on his daughter’s recovery from the surgery. The 16-time World Champion hinted that Charlotte Flair might just be out of action for the rest of the year. WWE knows the problem and does not intend to rush her back that could reaggravate the injury.
“She’s fine, but this time she knows, and her personal physician and the company doctors have reinforced it, that she can’t hurry the process,” Flair said. “Otherwise, we’re going to be right back. With the stuff that she does, the moonsaults and the way she lands and taking knees and everything, she’s got to be a hundred percent.”
Charlotte Flair was written off WWE TV after losing to Raw Women’s Champion Asuka during the June 17th episode of Monday Night Raw. She was attacked by Nia Jax, backstage which was a storyline way to write her off the TV.
The initial belief was that WWE must be bringing her back in time for SummerSlam as there’s a lack of star power in the women’s division. But they seem to be helpless and have to wait for more times before The Queen returns.
