Charlotte Flair of WWE Smackdown and Andrade of AEW share one of the most high-profile relationships in today’s professional wrestling. The two started dating in the WWE but over the past few months, their career spanned across two different companies. While this initially didn’t affect their bond, it appears that something is wrong with it, as of this writing.
Andrade El Idolo has unfollowed WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte on Twitter and Instagram. It’s an interesting move given that the duo is a celebrated couple.

The couple has been dating since 2019 and it was brought to the public, early that year. Then in January of 2020, the couple got engaged to be married after Andrade proposed on New Year’s Eve. No update is available on if they went through some kind of a break-up in recent times or this unfollowing has nothing to do with their relationship.
No tumultuous situation in their relationship has previously been noted by any outlets either. Charlotte Flair is still following Andrade El Idolo on Instagram, but not on Twitter. The last time Andrade shared an Instagram photo with his fiancée was in early September while Flair wished Andrade a Happy Birthday with a lengthy post on November 3.
Andrade and Charlotte Flair are with different companies
As noted above, Andrade is currently signed with AEW following his WWE release during the Wrestlemania 37 season, earlier this year. He had appeared at this month’s Full Gear PPV alongside Malakai Black against Cody Rhodes and PAC in a tag team action. Charlotte Flair wrestled this past weekend’s WWE Survivor Series 2021, culminating in a tense rivalry with Becky Lynch. Lynch got the pinfall victory over her former bestie by using the ropes as leverage.
By the looks of their social media posts, Charlotte Flair and Andrade were deeply in love with each other from the very beginning. Sometimes, fans even speculated that it might lead Flair out of the WWE after recent disputes which is incorrect. Here’s an excerpt from Flair’s lovey-dovey post on Andrade’s birthday occasion,
“You make me so proud. You have come so far and it is only the beginning. The last year was a blessing in disguise for our schedule. I will never take for granted being able to have so much time with you. Date nights and all Keep shining papi and I can’t wait to see what this year brings you but most importantly I hope all your wishes come true! I love you as big as the sky.”
