All-Women Evolution PPV Will Not Happen In 2019
WWE does arrange live events as well as Monday Night Raw or Smackdown Live on this particular venue, quite often. But they have not hosted a pay-per-view event on this venue for nearly 14 years. The last time a PPV took place here was Vengeance 2006 edition. So, the Clash of Champions will end the tradition when it finally happens on September 15th of this year.
JUST ANNOUNCED: @WWE will be bringing the Clash of Champions to Spectrum Center on Sunday, September 15, at 6:30 p.m., marking the first WWE pay-per-view event in Charlotte in more than 10 years.

As stated earlier, Charlotte, North Carolina is one of the richest areas in terms of old-school wrestling history. Fans often dub this city as Flair country since it’s been their home for a long time. Also, the Spectrum Center is the home of the late Dean Smith and the North Carolina Tar Heels who also has headquarters for Jim Crockett Promotions Inc.
