The winner of the men’s Royal Rumble match of 2023 Cody Rhodes recently talked about current Bloodline civil war that is going on in WWE Friday Night SmackDown and made a shocking stand regarding this matter. He made it clear with whom he would be standing in this epic saga.
At Night of Champions, Roman Reigns teamed up with his enforcer Solo Sikoa and challenged for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team championship. But The Usos cost him his big opportunity when Jimmy Uso betrayed him and nailed him with a super kick which shocked the entire world.

Last week on SmackDown, The Usos attempted to bury the hatchet and they wanted a reunion between the Bloodline. But Roman Reigns made his stand clear when he indicated Solo to attack Jimmy and Solo did as he was indicated. He nailed Jimmy with The Samoan Spike which made it pretty clear that the Bloodline is no more.
There is a still no confirmation on where this is heading towards. Roman Reigns will definitely be involved in a match at Money in the Bank against either one or both Usos. The strongest rumour regarding this situation is a tag team match where Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa would take on the Usos.
There is another possibility, Roman Reigns might Defend the WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship against Jimmy Uso. There had also been a strong rumour that Roman Reigns would Defend the WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso at SummerSlam.
Cody Rhodes, who is one of the biggest Rivals of Roman Reigns recently made his stand clear in this epic saga. He lost to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 and failed to continue the feud since he got drafted to RAW and Roman Reigns remained on SmackDown. Cody said that he would stand by Jimmy’s side in this scenario; “I don’t know about Jey. I like Jimmy, though. I’m with Jimmy. I think, I think.” He said this in a recent live event of WWE.
Cody Rhodes keeps on making comments on the matters of Bloodline which clearly indicates towards a future match between him and Roman Reigns. It looks like they are far from over and maybe we get to see these two athletes going one on one once again at WrestleMania 40.
