WWE Universe is yet to get over with the heroic performance that Cody Rhodes delivered at Hell in a Cell 2022, last Sunday Night. He has not only competed with a torn pec but also ended up winning that match against Seth Rollins. The pro-wrestling universe was in awe of his inhuman gesture by the top Raw Superstar that could have hurt him badly.
The Rock, a bonafide legend in the pro-wrestling industry apparently saw a lot of big-money moments during the Hell In A Cell main event and he threw a shoutout to the match competitors, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, know about it. Rhodes recently shared a video highlight package of the match on Twitter and The Great One responded to it with the following comment,
“Holy s–t. Proud of both, you and Seth. Go make your money!”

As noted, Cody Rhodes Rhodes tore his pectoral muscle off the bone just two nights before the premiere live event but he stayed adamant about competing in the scheduled main event. This was the third and final match between him and Rollin. Following this, WWE return to WrestleMania 38 and he defeated Rollins on that night before having a second match at WrestleMania Backlash that also ended with a win. All three matches between the two veterans have earned praises from the fans and critics.

Cody Rhodes will be out from WWE TV for 9 months
Then on last night’s WWE Smackdown, Michael Cole announced that Cody Rhodes is expected to be out of action for nine months following the surgery he had to repair the torn pectoral tendon.
“After a vicious attack by Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, Rhodes had successful surgery on Thursday by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas to reattach his pectoral tendon. Rhodes will face a long recovery and will be unable to compete for nine months,” WWE stated in their official statement.
The last time we saw The American Nightmare on WWE TV was on this past episode of Monday Night RAW that aired just 24 hours after Hell in a Cell PLE. He kicked off the night with a promo focusing on his will to compete in the Money In The Bank ladder match if any hope remains alive. But Rollins delivered an attack on him on stage. This was staged to write off Cody Rhodes for a longer timespan from WWE TV.
