Cora Jade is currently out of action and that won’t be coming to an end, anytime soon given the fatal injury that she’s dealing with. As per the ongoing reports and the updates from her surgery, she will be in an extended absence from WWE television due to the unfortunate ACL injury. For the time being, she continues to treat her fans with some photos on social media.
Despite this setback, Cora Jade is prepping up for her eventual comeback to the scene and she has already set her sights on possibly her first opponent when she becomes healthy enough to return to the squared circle.

Amid her road to recovery, Cora Jade showed interest in the ongoing feud between Roxanne Perez and the NXT Women’s Champion, Lyra Valkyria that would produce a huge title match at the upcoming NXT Stand and Deliver event. Now, the former women’s tag champ took to her X to react to Roxanne Perez’s recent post, where she uploaded a photo from her past reign as champion.
Cora Jade essentially issued a warning to her to claim a future beatdown and also take the title away if she wins it at Stand and Deliver,
“Yeah I hope so so I can beat you’re a** next in a few months.”

Plan changed on NXT due to Cora Jade’s injury
Interestingly, it has recently been indicated by Fightful Select that Perez’s former tag team partner and rival Cora Jade has instigated the heel turn of Roxanne Perez. The former has been sidelined with a torn ACL and NXT insiders clarify that while the plans for Perez’s character evolution became a reality before Jade’s injury. The two were also supposed to reunite as heels but those have now been scrapped.
Cora Jade is mostly known for her dedication toward professional wrestling who entered the wrestling circuit following the likes of AJ Lee. The former WWE Divas Champion had a tremendous influence on the newbie who has been touted to be one of the brightest female talents of the NXT roster, as well. Only time will tell when she could return to action.
