Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross rivalry continues on Smackdown and it will produce yet another match at the Crown Jewel 2022 premium live event. This time around, too, the two will compete under a stipulation that’s been announced on the October 21 episode of SmackDown.
“We all agreed that this thing has to end, and it will at Crown Jewel,” McIntyre stated in a backstage interview with Kayla Braxton. “Cause it’s going to be Drew McIntyre versus Karrion Kross in a steel cage match.”

Crown Jewel 2022 will mark the second match of the two top Smackdown superstars after their strap match at the Extreme Rules PLE on October 8. That match ended because of interference from Kross’ wife and manager, Scarlett who prevented McIntyre from hitting Kross with a Claymore Kick. Scarlett also used pepper spray to blind him. Kross capitalized on this to pick up the win by hitting an elbow on his opponent.

The feud between this two started on August 5 SmackDown when Kross returned to the WWE and attacked McIntyre. Since then, Kross has ambushed McIntyre on several occasions. McIntyre then pounced on Kross on Smackdown, last week. But WWE officials have now banned him from touching Kross until Crown Jewel 2022.
Speaking of the Saudi Arabia event, Braun Strowman vs. Omos will also take place at the show in “Battle of the Giants”. After stalking each other from a safe distance these two were featured in an in-ring confrontation, this week.
Strowman asked Omos’ manager MVP to put his client to a match against him at Crown Jewel 2022 and MVP immediately accepted the challenge. After some time, Omos showcased his incredible strength by shoving The Monster of All Monsters off the ring with ease.
