Professional wrestling legend D-Von Dudley recently spoke on the recent releases of WWE and the cuts made by the promotion.
WWE recently made an extremely controversial decision by releasing some of their best stars. Among them Braun Strowman and Aleister Black were really shocking. The release of Aleister Black really shook the entire WWE universe.

D-Von Speaks On Recent WWE Releases
Braun Strowman was constantly on the main events for quite a long time. Nobody expected him to get released at this stage of his career either. However, there are reports that Braun is trying to make a career elsewhere. This might have been a reason behind his release.
The release of Lana and Buddy Murphy may seem a little obvious. Santana Garrett was a new talent and not many fans knew about her. Ruby riot was one of the most talented women in WWE women’s division, but WWE always failed to utilise her. Her release may disappoint a lot of fans.
In the long history of WWE, no decision has ever felt so clueless compared to this. The reason is not been cleared yet, but it seems like the WWE made these releases just for a high budget cut. It is pretty much clear how much losses WWE is facing right now.

WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley recently spoke with Table Talk podcast where D-Von discussed about a number of topics including recent releases of WWE. D-Von said;
“Yeah, I was kind of shocked at some of the names. I wish nothing but the best to Aleister [Black], Buddy Murphy, Ruby [Riott], Braun [Strowman] and has anybody been omitted? I don’t know if it was anybody else. Santana Garrett.

“I look at it this way: All of those guys that were released, they’re very talented and I’m sure they’ll find employment elsewhere regardless to where they go or regardless of what happened. I’m sure people will come to [them for work], so I got nothing but love for them, it was a pleasure working with Braun, it was a pleasure working with Murphy, Ruby, I never got to work with Santana.
“I got to work with Murphy on 205 Live and Aleister. Not goodbyes, just see ya later. We’ll see each other down the road again. That I can promise.”
