WWE star and a former WWE NXT North American champion Damian Priest who has also been a WWE United States champion and recently dropped it to Finn Balor talked about the split personality gimmick that he is having right now.
The split personality gimmick of Damian Priest is quite different and this is something that we do not get to see very often in the stage of professional wrestling. Gimmicks have been a huge matter in professional wrestling in the previous days but these days it looks like gimmicks are getting old and professional wrestling promotions are not relying on different gimmicks either.

Split personality aur dissociative mental disorder is a serious health issue and a lot of people suffer from this particular mental disorder. Portraying it on a professional wrestling stage is definitely creating awareness around it as well.
Priest had been immensely successful scenes making his main roster debut in the last years Royal Rumble pay per view event during the Royal Rumble match. He played a babyface gimmick since. At the SummerSlam pay-per-view event he won the WWE United States Championship which was a huge accomplishment.

Recently he had been given a new gimmick of split personality where his real personality is a smiling good guy but sometimes during his matches he changes to a completely different angry guy. Recently he dropped the WWE United States Championship to Finn Balor and since then he has been portrayed as a heel. It looks like he has dropped the gimmick after WrestleMania 38.
Damian Priest who has also been a WWE United States champion and recently dropped it to Finn Balor spoke to ViBe & Wrestling where he talked about the split personality gimmick that he is having right now. He said;

“The idea I had had until now was to help others, as I did with Bad Bunny, Humberto, Sheamus, and even with the problems I’ve had with Lashley because of Goldberg’s son, and I think it’s time to focus on myself and that is the change.
“What happens is that not everyone liked that and now I’m focused on my career, and there were fans who changed their opinion of me. They considered me a ‘guardian angel’, and now that has been broken and I am going to be a little different, a little rougher, a little meaner, and I am going to enjoy it”.
