Former WWE United States champion Damian Priest who is also a former WWE NXT North American champion recently shared revealed his biggest goal in WWE and also talked about the advice that Triple H gave him when he was in the NXT.
Damian Priest made his main roster debut at the Royal Rumble pay per view event last year in the Royal Rumble match. On the very next night on Monday Night RAW he permanently moved to the main roster. He was mostly portrayed as a fan favourite babyface and he had a successful feud with former two times WWE Champion The Miz.

Damian Priest Reveals His Biggest Goal In WWE And The Advice Triple H Gave Him At NXT
At the SummerSlam pay per view event he defeated Sheamus to win WWE United States Championship. After winning the Championship he started and unbeaten streak. He had been a very dominant champion and WWE gave him a very good push since the very first day of joining the promotion.
Just before WrestleMania 38, he dropped the Championship to Finn Balor which also marked the end of his undefeated streak. After losing the Championship he turned heel for the first time on the main roster. Surprisingly he did not continue his feud with Finn Balor for the WWE United States Championship as WWE had different plans for him.

At WrestleMania 38 he did not get any match booked for himself but he had a different and interesting booking. Edge and AJ Styles had a match at WrestleMania 38, Priest was seen during the match who distracted AJ Styles and provided a cheeky victory for Edge. After the very next night on Monday Night RAW, Edge and Damian Priest formed an Alliance which looks quite interesting and hopefully it will bring something new experience.
Damian Priest who is also a former WWE NXT North American champion recently spoke to The Athletic where he shared his biggest goal in WWE and also talked about the advice that Triple H gave him when he was in the NXT. He said;

“I know it sounds like the character or what you’re supposed to say, but it’s really true: I want my name to be remembered. I want to achieve special moments and succeed in the business to where my name will stand the test of time so I can live on forever. When it comes to goals, I want everything. Everything. And if I don’t achieve it, I sure want to see a lot of cool things on the way there.”
“I remember when I was in NXT, and Hunter would be on me about, ‘When you learn to be yourself on camera as well as off it, you’ll be very successful here.’ I didn’t get it until it clicked. He told me he gave me the same advice that Undertaker gave (him) back in the day. I thought that was really cool.”
