WWE star Damian Priest created history at WrestleMania 37 along with his Tag Team partner, the Puerto Rican award winning Singer, Rapper and Song Writer Bad Bunny when the duo defeated the famous tag team of John Morrison and the former two times WWE world champion the Miz.
Body expected a good performance from Bad Bunny since he is not at all used to professional wrestling. This was a scheduled to be his first ever professional wrestling match, and that was also at an event like WrestleMania which is considered to be the biggest event in sports entertainment right now.
Damian Priest Says That Bad Bunny Does Not Want To Disrespect The Business
But bad Bunny shocked the world when he not only defeated the team of The Miz and John Morrison, but also performed quite shocking, beyond expectation. Bad Bunny was the man who secured the pinfall victory for his side over the former two times WWE champion the Miz.
fter the victory at WrestleMania 37, the Grammy award winning celebrity was not seen in WWE anymore. The former WWE 24/7 champion however, is rumoured for more matches in future. It would be quite interesting to see Bad Bunny performing in WWE again.
The former NXT North American champion Damian Priest recently spoke with the Wide World of Sports where he discussed about a various topics including how Bad Bunny does not want to disrespect the business. He said;
“He put in the work. People don’t see that side, so they don’t know. They figure he’s just a celebrity, he’s going to get that spot, whatever. But he didn’t take it that way, he took pride in what he did. He wanted to make sure that he represented himself, his fanbase and his culture in a positive way. He didn’t want to disrespect anybody, which was the first question he asked. He was getting in the ring, and the first thing he asked was, ‘Hey when I get in the ring, is there anything or anyway – I don’t want to disrespect anybody.’ I told him, ‘if that’s the first thing you’re going to say, you will be OK’”.
