WWE Raw star and a former WWE United States champion Damian Priest who is also a formal WWE NXT North American champion recently talked about NXT star Santos Escobar and he also said that he would love to see him in Judgement Day.
Santos Escobar had been a big attraction in the NXT and his stable Legado Del Fantasma was one of the most entertaining parts of the NXT for years. Escobar had been a former NXT Cruiserweight champion as well. Featured in a number of views for the WWE NXT North American Championship but he could never capture the gold.
Damian Priest Wants Santos Escobar In Judgment Day
Recently Escobar featured in a Loser Leaves NXT match against Tony D’Angelo at Heatwave which was the an NXT special event and Escobar lost the match which banned him from the NXT. Surely he will make his main roster debut sooner or later. But it has not been confirmed yet if he would join RAW or SmackDown.
Escobar could be an excellent choice for the newest member of the Judgement Day. Recently Dominik Mysterio turned heel and joined the stable making it a group of a four person. Definitely there are possibilities of more members joining the stable soon. Escobar could have been an excellent choice but recently Legado Del Fantasma made their main roster debut on Friday Night Smackdown and Escober is still the leader of the faction.
Damian Priest who is also a formal WWE NXT North American champion recently spoke to Cultaholic where he talked about NXT star Santos Escobar and he also said that he would love to see him in Judgement Day. He said;
“Yeah, definitely. Look, you’ve got Santos Escobar over there that I’m a big fan of, and I think he would fit right in with Judgment Day. But yeah, there are definitely talents out there that are more than capable and fit the vibe of Judgment Day. So, yeah. Our doors are open. You know, it’s just it’s one of those situations that it has to make sense. We all have to agree on it the right person, right time, right place. So there’s always a chance.”
“It’s one of those things that he could be a fan and everything, but we got to do our part. We have to deliver and I think right now we’re firing on all cylinders. I think things are going really well. We’re at the top of our game, and, you know, we’re getting opportunities, but we’re smashing them.
“Obviously, it helps to work with guys like Rey and Edge. So, yeah, things are good. But again, it has to go with us doing our part. Triple H, obviously, is a hell of a leader, a crazy vision. He’s so good at this business. But we have to do our part and so far, so good.”
