Daniel Bryan is considered to be one of the wisest wrestlers present in the WWE, if not the wisest. There are very few like AJ Styles or Seth Rollins who have wrestled all over the world like him. Down the road, he’s also sported different looks that made him one of the most colorful characters. This is the reason why some people may find it hard to recognize him in the past.
WWE changed up Daniel Bryan’s name and look when he signed, all the way back in 2010 so the identity from the past could be altered. Chelsea Green recently revealed a pretty funny story regarding this change of looks. It happened with her mother who thought that the veteran WWE Superstar’s twin exists.

Chelsea Green’s mother was recently going through some old ROH footage where she spotted someone named Bryan Danielson wrestling on the screen. Per him, it looked like Daniel Bryan’s twin who didn’t have the beard.
“My mum just called to tell me that Ring of Honor is on TV and “There’s a guy named BRYAN DANIELSON. He looks just like @WWEDanielBryan but without the beard!!”

Daniel Bryan accomplished a lot outside the WWE
We hope that Chelsea Green has now given the needed lessons to her mother about her co-worker Daniel Bryan. For those who don’t know, he wrestled for Ring of Honor (ROH) from 2002 to 2009 and got recognized as one of the “Founding Father” figures of the promotion. He was a one-time ROH World Champion and one-time Pure Wrestling Champion. At one point, he unified both the titles. Bryan was also the first winner of ROH’s annual Survival of the Fittest tournament in 2004.
Daniel Bryan then went to Japan for better wrestling experiences. There he ended up winning the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship in Pro Wrestling Noah and the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship (with Curry Man) in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). He also secured numerous titles on the independent circuit, including two PWG World Championships, the FIP Heavyweight Championship, and the wXw World Heavyweight Championship.
In WWE, Daniel Bryan has held the WWE Championship on four occasions and WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship once. He proceeded to become a Grand Slam Champion by being a one-time United States Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, a one-time WWE Tag Team Champion as part of Team Hell No (with Kane), and a one-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion (with Rowan). Additionally, he is also the 2011 SmackDown Money in the Bank winner, the 2013 Superstar of the Year Slammy Award winner.
