Former five times WWE World Champion Daniel Bryan has been one of the most famous wrestlers right now. He has been doing really amazing since he made his WWE debut. His fame among the fans can easily be measured from the pre WrestleMania XXX segments.

The original plans for the main event of WrestleMania XXX were Randy Orton vs. Batista for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. But fans wanted to see Daniel Bryan at the main event of the show. So, WWE had to include him in the main event to make it a triple threat match.

Seven years later, Bryan’s fame did not decrease even a bit. He had to go through a lot of storms but he is still going strong. There is a huge chance for him to get added to the WWE Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 37.

Daniel Bryan often gets regarded by the fans and the critics as one of the best technicians ever. Recently, Pete Dunne claimed himself to be the best technician in a promo. Daniel Bryan reacted to this claim when he asked about it by Talksport. He replied,

I did see that Pete Dunne did this promo, and it was really good, talking about he thinks he’s the best wrestler in the world. It gets you to thinking. Because I would say when I was in Ring of Honor in 2005, 2006, 2007, in my twenties and it’s like, yeah, these are guys who are becoming the best. And Pete Dunne, when you watch him work… you can’t [deny].

You may argue that some people are better. They may be better at this, they may be better at that. When you look at him and you look at some of the other guys, who’s the best? It’s become subjective. But, they’re in the discussion, right? And I’ve never gotten to wrestle [them]. God, how can I not wrestle the guys that might be the best!

This is pretty much possible that one day we see Daniel Bryan and Pete Dunne go head to head. Two of the most technically gifted professional wrestlers never faced each other in a wrestling match. Sooner or later, this match will take place, and the match will surely be a technical masterpiece. This is going to be a dream match for any technical wrestling fan, the question is, how long we have to wait to witness this dream match.
