Deonna Purrazzo continues to establish herself as a force to reckon following her forgettable WWE career. The female talent has now become the new ROH Women’s World Champion during this week’s TV taping for the Impact Wrestling promotion.
This week’s Impact Wrestling episode saw Deonna Purrazzo defeat Rok-C to win the title. Purrazzo’s AAA Reina de Reinas Title was also hanging in the balance in the “Winner Takes All” main event. The match was taped on Sunday in Dallas, Texas which aired last night.
Via this win, Deonna Purrazzo becomes the second ROH Women’s World Champion. Rok-C was the inaugural champion as she defeated Miranda Alize in the finals of a 15-woman tournament back at Death Before Dishonor XVIII on September 12.

This was Deonna Purrazzo’s first ROH match since losing to Kelly Klein at the May 13, 2018, ROH TV show. Last night’s match was set up after she challenged Rok-C at Final Battle in December following her title defense over Willow Nightingale.

Deonna Purrazzo became a dual champion
Deonna Purrazzo has been AAA Reina de Reinas Champion since defeating Faby Apache at TripleMania XXIX on August 14 of 2021 while Rok-C became the inaugural ROH Women’s World Champion by defeating Miranda Alize in the finals of a 15-woman tournament back at Death Before Dishonor XVIII on September 12. Last night marked Rok-C’s debut match for Impact and AAA. It was also her first match since retaining her title over Holidead on the December 24 edition of ROH TV.
At present, Deonna Purrazzo remains a dual champion, but she has not defended the AAA title since winning it from Faby Apache at TripleMania XXIX on August 14 of last year. She reportedly won the title as Impact and ROH is having a deal to continue co-branded storylines. Hence, the ROH Rogue Group invasion storyline, which began at Hard To Kill when ROH stars attacked the 10-Man Hardcore War participants, continued after Purrazzo’s big win.
After Deonna Purrazzo won the ROH title, ROH’s Maria Kanellis entered the ring and had words with her. PCO, Vincent, and The OGK then hit the ring and surrounded Purrazzo until Matthew Rehwoldt arrived and received a beatdown. Purrazzo escaped the ring as Willie Mack and Rich Swann tried to make the save but they were also laid out by the ROH superstars.
