Over the span of the past few months, Liv Morgan has become one of the hottest babyfaces on Monday Night RAW roster. Getting tremendous fan support helped her to move into a title feud with RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. But unfortunately, the popular superstar was unable to win the gold from the top female superstar despite getting a couple of title matches.
During an interview with CBS Sports, Liv Morgan remembered her first-ever main event match on WWE Raw with Becky where she unsuccessfully challenged the champion for the title. This match was built up in a big way for the December 6th episode of RAW as a homage to Trish Stratus and Lita main-eventing Raw, 17 years ago.
Liv Morgan previously revealed how she was prepping up for this particular match to pay tribute to the legendary female wrestlers of the WWE. She needed to do something special and hence she performed a suicide dive to take the champion to her limit. Plus, she also pointed out how things have aligned on that night.
WWE Raw Superstar Liv Morgan Was Supposed To Be Liv Gallows
“That day was the 17th anniversary of the infamous Trish vs. Lita [match]. The first-ever women’s main event match for the Women’s championship. It felt so weird to me. It felt like it was meant to be. Everything felt so aligned. Becky has red hair. I have blonde hair,” Liv Morgan stated.
“We have this match 17 years to the date and we were the main event, which we didn’t know until later in the day because we weren’t the main event and then we got switched to the main event. As soon as I realized that, I was like, ‘I’m doing a dive.’”

Liv Morgan’s popularity gave birth to Angry Liv Girl on internet
As noted, Becky pinned Liv Morgan by using the ropes when the referee wasn’t watching. The outcome of the match didn’t make a young fan happy whose face literally channeled the emotions of each of the fans of the arena and those who were watching at home. Eventually, that fan went on to become the Angry Liv Girl.
Liv Morgan claimed that she was able to track down that fan of hers,
“I have found Angry Liv Girl. She’s awesome and I’ve been waiting to reach out. I found her and I’m going to send her a little DM.”

Following their match in December, Liv Morgan and Lynch collided once again for the title at WWE’s Day 1 pay-per-view event where the champion retained via clean pinfall win. Then Liv lost a Triple Threat contender’s triple threat match on Raw which is likely to keep her away from the title picture for the time being.
