However, the real plans for this match were different. D’Lo recently revealed that he was scheduled to face the Tag Team champions Owen Hart amd Jeff Jarrett for the titles along with ‘The Sexual Chocolate’ Mark Henry. But Mark Henry picked up a knee injury and was forced out of this match.
As a result of this consequence, D’Lo got a different partner for the match and it was Test. Plans were changed by the time, the championships did not change hand anymore. D’Lo expressed his disappointment because of the change of plan. He wished he could have been the title.

D’Lo Brown recently featured as a guest on the Black Guy Wrestling podcast where he revealed the actual backstory behind this Tag Team Championship match and how things changed because of circumstances. He said;
“The one thing that I wish would have played out, I forget which WrestleMania. I think it was WrestleMania [15] in Philadelphia. Mark Henry and I were gonna wrestle Owen [Hart] and Jeff Jarrett for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

“I think it was still WWF at the time, and Mark got hurt. Like two weeks out, he hurt his knee and had knee surgery but we were supposed to win the tag titles at WrestleMania. That never happened. That’s probably one of the things you go, ‘Damn, I wish that had happened.’ I wish that had happened just for — just to have that feather in the cap.”
