A few months ago, rumors were rife about SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax (real name Lina Fanene) not liking each other. They reportedly have problems in real life which is the reason they also shared the same while being on TV during in-ring matches.
However, Jax took to her Instagram Stories to squash those speculations. Jax posted a video clip of her and Flair hanging out and having a good time, along with the caption: “Her and Charlotte really hate each other.”
Wrestlemania 38: Will The Undertaker Make In-Ring Return On WWE PPV
Originally, rumors around the beef between Jax and then Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair started after a shoot-style match took place on an August episode. The two faced each other in singles capacity on that night for a non-title bout. Jax beat the top champion of WWE by clean pinfall after a powerbomb. Many fans tweeted after the match about how rough the match was, with some speculating on if the two Superstars were shooting on each other.
WWE producer also rubbished Charlotte Flair-Nia Jax rumors
The superstars never commented about the beef after their match on Raw. But speaking about the match on his Table Talk podcast, WWE Producer and Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley dismissed reports that Charlotte Flair and Jax got physical backstage after their match.
“A lot of people suspect Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair got into it heavy,” Dudley said. “I even heard some reports that they were beating each other up in the back. Number one, they weren’t beating each other up in the back. Something happened in the ring, they handled it the way they handled it and they got over it. It’s as simple as that. They got over it.”
“It got a little rough. It happens. It’s not the first time it happened, but of course, everyone is making a big deal out of it.”
Did Liv Morgan Find The Angry Liv Girl From WWE Raw?
After she pinned Charlotte Flair on Raw, it was thought that WWE would push Nia Jax back to the women’s title picture which was not the case. She was among 17 talents released by WWE on November 4, 2021. Jax recently revealed that she’s “Starting a business. Growing some cool things on her farm” after teasing that she might never feature in wrestling in her life.
As for Charlotte Flair, she continues to be on top of the WWE. She’s already a thirteen-time women’s champion in the company who will continue to achieve more accolades in the future.
