Professional wrestler and WWE star Piper Niven who is currently going by the name of Doudrop in WWE recently got an opportunity to win the WWE Raw Women’s Championship from Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble pay per view event. She talked about the mentioned match.
Doudrop has not been presented as a very dominant force since coming to the main roster. Even though it looked like WWE would book her strong after the feud she had with Eva Marie whom she completely manhandled in every match they had. She was quite talented and the feud made it look like she would be pushed as a main event star.

Doudrop Reflects Her Match Against Becky Lynch At Royal Rumble
But after she lost in the final of the Queen’s Crown tournament, her push was drained and she became more of a jobber even after being quite impressive in ring and on mic as well. Fans expected to see her getting her lost push back but unfortunately that did not happen yet.
But she got a title opportunity recently and that was at the Royal Rumble pay per view event. She won a triple threat no 1 contender’s match which also included Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair. She pinned Liv Morgan to win this match. It was quite an impressive victory for her.

She went on to face Becky Lynch for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at the Royal Rumble pay per view event even though it was very much predictable that she was not going to win the title, and that is exactly what happened. Becky retain the championship and it was quiet and easy victory for her.
Piper Niven who is currently going by the name of Doudrop in WWE recently got an opportunity to win the WWE Raw Women’s Championship from Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble pay per view event. She spoke to El Brunch de WWE where she talked about the mentioned match. She said;

“I did not expect it all [match with Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble]. I was really surprised that we were having this match but very grateful and it was a crazy match because you know, it was heel-heel match so it was kind of like a little — not misplaced but you know, it makes it a little more difficult and then while we’re having the match, the WrestleMania sign went on fire and I was like, ‘Uh, I don’t know what to do.’
“So it was a really — I really loved the match and I loved working with Becky, but it wasn’t without its challenges. But, I think we, again, even despite all the challenges, performed really well and I hope that I get to have another match with Becky perhaps for the title.”
